  • I was just poking around the site and noticed that you had torn your MCL. :(
Hope you get better soon. IMHO: get the surgery and get it over with.
Hey Marty -- are you going to be at the cabin around memorial day?

    I'll be in the area then. (21st - 25th)

    Thanks for the green!
Marty- Thanks for the Green! Was a beautiful day- can't wait till the trails clear up and we head back up to Maine. Plan on two more trips before Baxter, hitting 3 in each- hope you will be there! And heal up soo.
Thank you! It was such a lovely day to be up there - words would have done the trip injustice. Hence the 12 pictures. :)
    Hey Jason!
Umm, I might be very interested in a Sunday hike. I just checked my email and see that I forgot to include you on it, stating I was available to hike (BAD MARTY!).

Anyway, LarryD and I were looking to hike the West Ossippee's (Rocket21 led hike), but weather on Saturday is looking iffy. Thus, we might be looking to Sunday, assuming we get permission from our better halves.

Let me know what you are thinking. It has been too long since we hiked.

Thanks for the greenie! It must be just as simple as I stated, otherwise the more scientific-minded folks would have written a lot more by now! My BF, who was lurking from home when I wrote my explanation, immediately emailed me at work to say "Huh? I thought ice bridges were built by little forest gnomes. (You know. The little people.) I do believe. I do I do I do!"

FYI, do you recall meeting my son and I, as we headed up Whiteface for FOT48 2005? Just wondering...
Thank you so much! Unfortunately, I cannot take credit for breaking the trail... it was well packed out from top to bottom when we were there, too. :)
Thank you for the green square! I also put an approx. map on my web site version of the trip report, though the sections between the old bridge and Haystack Road may be a little off.
Barely though....leg is still only 90%, I have to stick to the easy stuff. Interested in doing Waumbeck as soon as there is enough snow to make it an enjoyable snowshoe trip?
We got Scar. I did Vose back in July. Think we only have PaTN in common! Again, congrats to you, Sabrina!!
thanks for the good luck, Marty!! Does all those scratches mean you got Scar? Do you need Vose Spur??
