    hiking blue connector trail to haystack

    I haven't been on the blue connector trail in about 3 years. I am going in to do haystack basin and saddleback tuesday. feb3rd. My question is in the winter is it easier to go blue connector or shorey short cut? We are staying at grace camp monday nite so we will get an early start tuesday
