I started hiking very young. My parents would pack up the car with 4 kids and a dog and head to NH for a week of camping which always lead to climbing something. I tell my dad I am going somewhere and he tells me we climbed that years ago . Ahhh the memory is only a memory. Also, I am 54 and in decent shape. I am not the fastest nor am I the slowest hiker. I have been hiking alone lately since my regular partner wants nothing to do with winter hiking. I like to hike in small groups. It is just easier. Being self employed allows me to do a lot of my hiking during the week.

Hiking of coarse. Got into winter hiking this year. I don't know why I never thought to do so before. Fishing is also a good time. I like that you can do both all year long. It keeps me outdoors .
