We are thinking about heading up to the Baldfaces tomorrow and are wondering how much snow is on the trail/are snowshoes needed? We hiked Rodger's Ledge last Saturday and there was still a fair bit of snow - 3 ft in places! Thanks!

Congratulations to Spencer Crispe for being the first known person to climb up and ski down all 110 major mountain in Vermont (above 3000'). He finished on January 5, 2020, and it took him 4 winters using these criteria: Climbing to the accepted summit of all 110, during the Calendar winter...

It's 58 degrees in Southern VT! Rain is suppose to start here later tonight. Hopefully we don't lose too much of the snow base. Renee

Mr. Pizza is a fantastic post hike place. The name is kind of misleading because there is so many other food options there too.

We received some snow down here yesterday which is covering up icy conditions beneath. I would bring microspikes.

I stayed there two winters ago. The Huts are more like lodges, really comfortable. I would like to finish by skiing all the way to the Forks sometime.
