  • I liked your post on the Rep thread. If I could give you a greenie I would do so.;)
Thanks, Clarke. If I pursue those ideas (which might not be prudent), I may try to think of catchier tags.
    Thanks for the "greenie"!

Also I love your suggestion of classifying nameless places with a vista as "Vista sine nomine"! Makes sense to me! After all, the binomial nomenclature system used for animals and plants is largely derived from Latin, and so why not apply it here as well!:)
Small world. I interviewed DrBarnard for an article on gray jays awhile back. He is the MAN. Thanks for the greenie.
Thank you for the greenie!! I hope my book will inspire other parents to get their kids out in Nature too.
Congratulations on your imminent completion of the 48! I have a conflict on the 25th, unfortunately. If it rains and you slip to the 26th, I might be able to join you.
nice job on Wildcat D! I am booked this weekend - family visiting. Have a great weekend!
    Dude,
got your message! Exciting times for you. Look forward to catching up!

walking the boundaries of the Trust's 400+ properties and making sure the easements are upheld. sounds cool, huh!
Thanks for the greenie, Clarke! I'm actually applying for a position as the Stewardship Coordinator for a Land Trust. I should hear soon if I got the job.....
It's an interesting area... The Carrigain Notch trail is cool, along the RR Grade (which extends into the woods a little bit after the trail ends). But between there and Carrigain Pond on the shoulder of Carrigain it's a nightmare of spruce hell.
Looking forward to a hike - we last met in the company of Ray at the AMC 4K dinner where he collected his final patch - RIP. I'm always happy to encounter hikers who share my fondness for the rich history of our mountains.
