Congrats Mark !!!! This is an awesome accomplishment. What was footing like on the cone of Madison? Was there a lot of exposed rock? Could you wear snowshoes with aggressive crampons or was there not enough space between the exposed rocks? Thanks. sli74

Yes, I got the impression from talking to the very serious ski patrol lady that their concern was only that you not begin your trip UP the hill on their property. It seems like heading back down the ski trail is not a concern. I tried reasoning with her, begging, pleading . . . nothing worked...
