  • Thank you so much! I'm really glad that I had my camera up there, and vow NEVER to let it leave my pack whenever I'm up in the mountains... :D
Hi Patrick. I saw a previous (last year) post by you regarding lack of blazing on the sisters of Chocorua. I don't think there is a maintainer/adopter for that trail. I know USFS is moving away from blazing and towards cairns. I know the blazes on Piper are worn out as well. You could contact Kristin Bailey at (603) 447-5448 x112 with your concerns. She is the USFS Saco district trails manager. - Chris
Thanks for the kind words which from you are especially appreciated. The view with the undercast when I arrived was spectacular. Then when it all lifted the views of the valley were equally spectacular.

Patrick: Saw your post touting May Kelly's. Don't let the secret out! Seriously, my wife and I are Friday night regulars, and also try to make the Sunday session at least once a month. Maybe see you there some time (not that I would recognize you).

    P.S.--Love your TRs and pictures.
I thnk I saw your truck up at Unknown Pond Trailhead on Saturday....There were some moose there to be seen...I startled one just at the second brook crossing and heard another in Unknown Pond on Friday night. I love the moose photos..keep sharing.
Thank you very much for the green square! It means a lot, coming from someone as talented as yourself. Yesterday I was out on Washington/Monroe/Isolation. The day started out quite hazy, but it looks like I might have gotten some good shots later in the day! Hope to have them posted soon. :)
Thank you for the green square! Don't you worry, I buy Honest Howie's Carbon Credits before emitting lots of CO2 on a hike :)
Thank you for the green square, I noticed you lurking on the Kanc this morning - didn't recognize your truck fast enough to give a good wave!
Thanks for the green! I'm looking forward to seeing your consistently fine shots in this years thread.
