8 is Donaldson. 7 is not Marshall and Colden. It technically is Marshall sub3 and sub2. The slide on the further peak (sub2) falls an hour or two shy of true Marshall. 9 has me stumped, but it a nice shot. Wish I was there now! RPR?

Inge, the road, when public, will only be "walkable." There will be no parking lot at the little meadow for quick scampers up Allen and CC and friends. We don't want to make it too easy for you. :) Oh, and keep the quibbles coming. Funny stuff! :D

Great report! Sounds like my kind of backpacking trip. I'm headed for GN in late summer, but only have time for a pair of day hikes. What do you recommend? Initial plans were for Goose Eye and Baldpate, but Puzzle sounds awesome.
