I picked up a T-shirt the other day at Target that is 85% Rayon and 15% polyester. It feels a lot like microfiber and was about $6.50. My question is whether rayon acts like polyester when wet or would it tend to absorb water like cotton? Would the shirt be good for hiking etc.?

I would be interested in hearing about favorite sections of trails in the ADKs. Not necessarily the most spectacular, but perhaps the most satisfying or enjoyable walks. In the interest of balance you could also include your least favorite. From my somewhat limited experience here are mine...
