Brian and I hiked Hurricane from the east today, up the old fire tower observer's road/trail. Trail is in excellent condition, what a beautiful approach to this lovely mountain. Thanks Christine for all the maintenance you do on this beautiful trail, or is it Hurricane Mt Trial? :)

Please keep me in the loop John, sounds like a fun trip. Depending on weather for that weekend, we may be interested. Cindy & Brian

Thanks all. Thanks Yogi; I have a jeep so clearance should not be a problem. I was wondering what condition the bridges were in. I still have my maps and directions from the last time I was in there, so finding the trailheads should not be a problem either. :) I'm looking forward to visiting...

Well, did you score the tickets dude? I would love to pencil this in on our calendar for July 16/17. Maybe Jay would be able to join us for that weekend too!!

July 9/10 is our Balsam Lake Mt. volunteer fire tower weekend. We have all weekends in the rest of July open. If you decide you want to change the date, we would love to join in again this year. I have paddled Little Tupper with Jay, great campsites and a fun paddle. Cindy & Brian

Congrats on the NEHH Arm!!

Brian (bushwacker) and I hiked it two weeks ago. Very nice hike, maybe three blowdowns, easy to step over. Beautiful hike, lots of blackberries. Last mile is steep, beautiful views. Trailhead is very easy to find and there is a sign on the gate. Happy Trails - Cindy
