Maby someone has asked this question before. I don't know, but with everyone constantly using the bushwacks in the White mountains, why don't the national park and forest service make these official trails?

We met a thru hiker in the Whites named "Lumpy". He had a pair of stout tree limbs. Must have got em cheap. Just a thought.

You could ask the owners of RM who put the pack on consignment. They should have it on record. There could be an interesting history here.

One of my BD lower sections was frozen in the closed position. I used a dowell and drove the section out with much effort. The poles were slightly used but badly corroded

As far as I know, there is no law against spotting deer and other wildlife with high powered lights, but I don't think you can have a gun in the vehicle.

This might not be in the same line of thought but, The state of new hampshire built a brand new parking area at purity pond in Eton NH for cartop boating. Why is this free parking for some, but I have to pay to park to walk in the woods?

My wife and I are going on an extended weekend near Baxter park. I was wondering if there are any pay showers in the area of East Millinocket. After a couple of days in the woods the wife would pay dearly for a shower. Thanks

My wife and I have returned gear over the years to the north conway EMS and never had any problems. One store employee told me that they are told not to piss people off.
