Wonderful overnight hike up Asquam-Ridge Tr, stayed at Beaver Brk shelter w a few through hikers. Brook is running, no shortage of water. over Moosilauke- windy, in the clouds-fun walk across the summit.

What are your thoughts for bear spray in the Northeast? I've never thought it was necessary and do not hike w it. If you take the normal precautions, bears are not a problem, humans pose more dangers. Thanks > Doug

was just there early spring, spring is always flowing just as you branch off to the site-good water. It is a busy site so get there early unless you don't mind overflow sites-hike safe
