It's been awhile since I wore crampons most of the day. No slice marks in my gaiters. Nice! :D

There sure was some slip-sliding that day. :cool: I had some sore spots that are not normally sore after a hike. :eek: However, it was nice to get out. Two weeks in between a hike is too long.:(

Not a lot of sun but no rain is a sure plus. :) I hope they find the two Black Labs as well :(

I encountered a lot of low clouds in the morning as well but the day sure turned out nice. I must of just missed you. I went by the Waumbek trailhead around 7:45ish. Netting five summits on a Triple is an interesting comb. Nice job! :)

Nice trip report! Sounds like you had a great day with good company. Then again how can you go wrong with Bobby and Marty :) The wind brought some surprisingly cool weather. I needed to put on gloves when I was above treeline and at one point even my fleece gloves were not keeping my hands...

August Snowman in the Ice Caves I know it's kind of stretching it by using ice but it does have arms, eyes and a nose. I had to crawl into a hole about 10 feet deep and use my knife to chisel three slabs of ice. It was soooooo worth it. Now August is complete. I believe I just need one more...

It felt like I was at a mall.....not out in the woods :( Boott Spur was a fun trail. Running into Bobby & Eric was nice. Amazing we found them in that crowd.
