I have read that the caretaker collects $8 per night, is this per tent site or per person? Wanted to stay here with my kids this coming weekend into next week while I day hike to hit the nearest peaks in the area.

Has anyone been in the area to know if the water is running in the stream? If not then the closest water is below bondcliff? Getting ready to hike parts of the pemi with my kids and want to make sure I pick up water early if needed.
