Very cool find. And good eye evilhanz. Seems very likely it is from a model A, but probably around 1931. My father had a 1931 Ford Model A when I was a kid so I recognized the door. Here is a photo of a 1931 model A door which has that bulge you noticed, nartreb.

I did Liberty via Liberty Springs with a friend yesterday. We wore our microspikes the entire way up as did most other hikers we saw. The trail was excellent. However, the hike back down was much wetter as it was a pretty mild day and the snow started melting.
