WOW!! Congrats!!

Tim Pond Road and Canada Road a/k/a Kennebago Road both plowed a/o 01/03/2016. Several inches of fluffy powder over a thin crust up until about 2700 feet, above that up to 2 feet of pure powder.

Update on Tim Pond Road conditions Thanks, Vermonster. I did North Kennebago yesterday and both Tim Pond Road and Canada Road a/k/a Kennebago Road were plowed.

Agreed, the Traveler Loop is awesome!! I did it once on a gorgeous September day and didn't see anyone else on the trail the entire day. Enjoyed tons of blueberries when I hiked it in August one summer.

I'm anxious to finish up my Maine NE 100 highest in winter with East Kennebago and North Peak of Kennebago Divide. Is there anyone out there who would like company hiking either of these any time soon?

Wow, I've been to Baxter many times so I have a pretty good idea of the difficulty level of what you accomplished while there. It sounds like quite a trip!! Congratulations on both counts, what you did in Baxter, as well as finishing your 115!!!

Congratulations to you Chris!!! I enjoyed seeing your pictures and reading your trip report. Hiking on a day like that makes winters feel too short.

Thanks, Dennis. I reached the peak in May of 1995, but wanted to do it in winter too. Last winter's attempts were with a friend who was not quite as determined to reach the top as I was. The first time, we got to within a quarter mile of the summit. It was a tough decision to turn around...
