Has anybody been using MapTech Chart CD's for their GPS.? Mostly I hear about Garmin Blue Charts. I use some of the MapTech waterproof paper charts, so I would be interested if they offer all the East Coast or at least big portions at one fixed price. Couldn't quite tell if it was geared...

What I'm really wishing for is.... a mitten friendly GPS unit that is waterprooof and floats. Also I would want it for something like the Northern Forest Canoe Trail and Charts for the coastal Maine Islands plus I would want to be able to add charts for Canada So Far I think Garmin 76cs...

There is an on going search for a fellow padding back from a round trip paddle to Star Island, NH part of the Isle of Shoals... they are about 7 miles off shore. Hope it all works out ok
