There was also a MITA outing on Warren Island (no affiliation with fellow VfTT'r Warren) near Isleboro this past weekend too.

The Warren Island MITA meet is their annual meeting. We went a few years ago,and it was great. Strangely enough,someone took a picture of our kayaks on the beach,and it ended up in Backpacker Magazine two years later!
It's areal social occasion,lotsa food,kaya races and great storytelling. You gotta hear Bill Hinderer tell his stories!
We couldn't make it this year,as we were sailing to the Vineyard and Nantucket. Life is tough!
