That time of year again and I know it's early, but if anyone has any info in the next few weeks we'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Diapensia was blooming on Franconia Ridge over Memorial Day weekend. It's been a warm year.

January - April were warmer than average, but May - June thus far have been colder than average.

I did a traverse yesterday with a friend up Edmands Path > Crawford Path to the LOC Hut > Camel Path > Lawn Cut Off > Alpine Garden > Nelson Crag > Old Jackson Road. Lot of good color overall. Wouldn't say it is near full yet. Seemed like a lot of buds still emerging. We saw at least 12 types of blooming flowers. The best sections were the Crawford Path from Mt Franklin to the hut and the upper sections of the Alpine Garden Trail at/near the intersection with Nelson Crag (which seemed to be at peak). Seemed like at and above 5000' had the most blooms.
