Date of Hike: 2009.03.28
Trail Conditions: Skyline Trail was in great shape. Almost completely dry. All mud can be easily avoided.
Special Equipment Required: None. I used poles but they are not needed.
Comments: Did an out and back from the Shea Rink in Quincy to the summit of Big Blue. It's hard to believe you can get such a rugged 15 mile/3000+ elevation hike this close to Boston. I found this hike harder than several 4000 footers. Great day to be out!
