Trail Conditions: Lots of leaves on the trail but unlike my last report, there was absolutely no trace of snow or ice. It's fall again. The trails were pretty wet and muddy, especially the Gale River Trail, most notably down low. The crossings were all simple and doable and would have been very easy if the rocks weren't wet. There was one easy-over blowdown worth noting, also on the lower part of the Gale River Trail. Further up the trail there were some downed firs but they didn't span the trail and were easy to get around.

Special Equipment Used: We carried poles and they were helpful for the crossings. We also carried some traction, but it was completely unnecessary.

Comments: Hiked this one with Steff and our mutual friend, Jennifer. Also ran into Dan McGinness; he was about half way through a Pemi Loop. Great day.
