Issues with the site today

Has the site been hacked or something else going on. At first this morning I was getting notices of responses to threads I responded to that occurred months ago. Now I am getting notices of responses to threads that I hadn't responded to and are not even current topics on the board. Anyone else having similar issues? Thanks for looking into this.

I haven't seen anything odd today. Can you take a screenshot next time you see something unusual and send it to Tim?

I think the e-mail system has been backed up - I got notifications today for PMs I received a while ago...

I think Tim may be right. A closer look at the Mount Elbert thread I didn't think I had responded too, I had in fact commented on which would make all the messages just very late (couple months or more) emails and not out of the blue emails. Thanks for looking into it. Even with all my firewalls and anti virus protection etc, I still get paranoid when I start getting mysterious stuff in my inbox.

I too thought "Hmm..." when I got several e-mails today about private messages I remember reading some time ago. It's not the first time the e-mail system has had hiccups.

Site scan shows no suspicious activity, and we are up to date on all available patches.

Between 4:30 and 7Pm today I received 12 notifications about a thread that has been dormant since January 30th.

Tim, same here. Just checked in a few min ago and received msgs I'd seen a while ago.
This happened a couple of months ago.

I too received a flood of emails...but for some reason the hyperlinks were not clickable----just text.

Me I received not less than 30 emails of NY & NH trail conditions and it was old informations from 2 month ago. And I still received emails old updte this morning and during the night.

Me too. Got at least three emails that I have a new private message but everything in my inbox is old. I'm going to delete stuff in my inbox and see if this fixes things.

I had 50 notifications from VFTT in my inbox when I turned the computer on this morning.

FYI, I am not getting click able links because the email system has decided the burst of emails is spam. So if anyone is not getting anticipated messages, have them check their junk mail box.

I still received email. The notification are from march 16 2015. 7 more days and we should be up to date. But, I dont received the new email notification link from this thread.

This weekend I got an email from the system wishing me a happy birthday "today"... My birthday was a month and a half ago. I also got a couple emails about responses to PMs that I had gotten about 2.5 months ago.
