Anyone have any experience with kid's snowshoes? My grandchildren are 5-10 years old and weigh from ~40 -90 lbs. They'll be using these mostly in and around a ski area so there will be a mix of mostly packed and semi-packed snow and occasionally some deeper stuff away from the trails.
I'm looking at the Tubbs Flex Jr.s (17") for the lighter two (girls) and the MSR Shift Youth (19.5") for the heaviest (a boy.)
Anyone have any experience with these specific models? Any other recommendations?
