This new damage is on the south end of the road, from Rt 25. The north end of the road is also closed due to previous damage.
Storm activities this week have caused additional damage to Long Pond Road and we have had to close the road for public safety. Recent storm events have exposed a culvert and washed away parts of the road, creating unsafe travel. Over the next few weeks, we will be working with our road crew to adjust workloads and priorities to patch the damage and partially re-open Long Pond Road/North-South Road to access the Long Pond Recreation Area.
