You mean all of the horizontal flaps that contain the holes?

Would it work for you to just cut them off? You could drill holes into the sides as needed and mount some metal sheetmetal in the front to pull it... \

Hi All,
Sorry for the late reply! DougPaul, the sled is basically done right now (I opted to do the high-end model from skipulk Ed's website). I wanted to create more of a "bucket" effect, which is seen on fiberglass sleds such as fjellpulken or acapulka and add a nylon cover.

I hadn't thought about cutting the material...I'm not sure that's something I'd be willing to do though.

I guess I'll ponder this question a bit further before making any drastic changes to the sled.
