Trail has the usual muddy spots. Bog bridges’ conditions run the gamut but most are in good shape and water crossings low, easily crossed.
Beautiful day but as is typical in late summer, a cloud lingered on the summit cone. Not many were out on the trail considering it’s the start of a holiday weekend. Summit steward very tactfully got all of us and all our things off the grasses on the summit- as well as all other vegetation. I expected the alpine plant discussion and was embarrassed that I hadn’t considered the healthy chunks of grass on the top also fragile.
