Questions, concerns and problems with the new vftt.org

Have you updated your bookmarks? What is your bookmarked URL and/or what do you enter in the browser's address bar? And what browser are you using?

You might try clearing the cookies and history for *.viewsfromthetop.com and *.vftt.org and beginning anew.

If you are using the browser's back button, you might try clicking the forums link at the tob (the tab) instead.

At one time, there were some reported bugs against vBulletin for this, but they claim they are all fixed.

Unfortunately, I don't have any better ideas for you at this time, but try the above and let us know,

I did all those things and things worked as expected for the last 4 days. Then tonight it failed again when I hit the back button and clicked on the "Mark Forums Read" at the bottom. Got the same message "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

O then went back into the forums and clicked on the top right pf the black menu bar and then it worked.

Since it was always only occasional, I'm not sure it was really fixed before the new failure.

I have been trying to post a new thread and have had serious troubles with attaching photos. How do I add a photo (JPEG format) into the text. The process of attaching a photo to the thread does not really work very well. I cannot go back and check what was actually uploaded without loosing the whole message forever! After 4 tries, I have given up. Instead one of my usual rants, this post may have been of interest so some members.

Someone else might have a better idea but this is how I do it.
I move the pics I want from iPhoto to my hard drive pics folder. I sign on to Photobucket. I click "upload at the top". I then drag the pic I want into the big box and then click "upload at the bottom" of the big box. The pic goes into the library. I then select the pic and on the far right you have options. I use IMG at the bottom. I click the IMG and it immediately copies it. I go back to VFTT and in the text box I PASTE that IMG code and when I click reply at the end of my post, the pic will come up.
