Searching for Dix

I'm trying to find posts with info about Dix in the Adirondacks, but I'm hitting a technical snag. "Dix" is too short for search term, so I've searched Dix Adirondacks, but as you might imagine, that comes back with a lot of hits . . .

Is there a way to force the search to include both words in the search? I've tried "AND" but it didn't seem to work.

If I'm missing the obvious, I apologize

The vBulletin search mechanism is limited, especially with short words. The easiest thing is to use Google search.

Try this in Google: site:http://www.vftt.org/forums dix

To prove a point, I once wrote an entire post in 1-3 letter words and called it the unsearchable post.

"We did Dix, it was fun. We saw the sun up in the sky. It was hot! ... "

(without the quotes)
