Started from the end of Enid Melrose Road-- no designated parking here, but enough space to pull a car off on the side. First few miles were groomed snowmobile trail, then light snowpack until the Evergreen Valley Link. There were old snowshoe tracks from this point until the summit.
Snow pack was very shallow and mostly rotten until the open ledges on Speckled Mountain. Snowshoes were handy in the beginning and at the summit, but microspikes were more useful most of the way. Doesn't look like the trail has seen much use, but it was a fine way to get away from people for a day.
