In the last few days when I reply to thread, the editor defaults to right justification. When I start typing, the text appears on the right side of the editor and then scrolls left. It does appear to post correctly but is pretty strange to use.

For an example when I responded to the EMS bankrupt thread it did it but when I respond to this thread it doesn't.

Which browser are you using? Have you tried this in different browsers? I haven't noticed anything using Firefox 44.0.2.

There was a recent change -- the hosting company upgraded the version of php that is used to run the site - the one they were using was long ago end-of-life'd. I have not changed anything myself. I also don't use IE because it always gives me an Inferior Experience to Chrome or Firefox.

Display errors

Today I encountered the following message when displaying some, but not all threads:

Warning: preg_replace(): The /e modifier is deprecated, use preg_replace_callback instead in ..../includes/class_bbcode.php on line 2968

On one thread, the messages was repeated several times.

I don't know if this is related or a completely different problem, but I thought I'd let folks know about it.

I use IE V9.0.8112.16421, running on Windows Vista Home Premium SP2. Yup it's trailing edge, but at least it isn't RSTS/E...

Me too, On FF 38.7.1. It disappeared quickly for me, and I did not notice any problem with the post. I also have seen several duplicate posts recently, or is that just 'user error' ?

I see that same issue. I am waiting to see if vBulletin puts out an update to handle these...... There is a trivial upgrade available right now, but I am waiting.
