Absolutely nothing! Wish I could say I was ending winter with a bang, but I'm not. Just some painting projects around the house.

I've been in the catskills since my winter finish. Did some of the winter Hundred Highest, as well as hiked some peaks for some friend's winter round. Funkyfreddy and Gail were down in the catskills so I hiked Panther and Giant Ledge since Gail needs them for the regular 3500. Showed them the plane wreck there. And this weekend will be in the cats to celebrate a friend's finish of the winter 3500.

I'll be in the ADKs the last w/e in march for the winter gathering though..

Hi Viewseeker --I'm not sure. Trail conditions and weather all looks lovely, but I've come down with a nasty cold. If I feel okay enough to go, then we'll go. I'm not yet sure.

Are you hiking? If so, enjoy the warmer weather. I personally am looking forward to the complete return of warm weather and snow-free trails. Less to carry, less to worry about, etc.

Thanks for the invite for CC-50. I would love to, but the 46'R dinner is that weekend and I promised some friends I would attend and get my certificate. We will be in the Daks hiking that weekend and attending the dinner. I hope you have a great time and let me know what you think about it. We are planning to hike it in mid to late Sept.

Yes, he's hiked with me before. His last trip was last January...he's done a handful of peaks. He has a bad knee plus he started cramping up. Not the first time this has happened, kind of frustrating, but oh well.

Thanks! I made it to Dial and Nippletop. I'm pretty certain I could have done Colvin and Blake too, but my partner bailed on me before he even reached Dial so I didn't feel right leaving him at the car for that long.

I am working on Monday Memorial Day -- and I may be working the weekend as well -- :-( So I doubt I will be able to come up and attend the awards. If something changes, I'll let you know!

HAHAHAHA I know what you mean Andy! It is nice to be done and hike what I want. Seth is still undecided as he might drop me off in Cranberry Lake and head up to the high peaks. You should get a hold of him andy!

I'm sure it would be! But, it doesn't involve any High Peaks. Holiday weekends are hard for me, should probablly do something with the fam, plus I might have to work. I know, I know...lame excuses, but at this point, if I'm gonna make a weekend trip it's gonna be to knock some peaks off my list!
