Webster-Jackson trail to Mt Jackson
Date of Hike: 1/2/09
Trail Conditions: Nicely packed. Icy on boulder right below the summit. Easy walk in the woods.
Special Equipment Required: We used snowshoes almost the entire hike only for better traction. The aggressive spikes on my MSR Ascent help greatly on the icy boulder just below the summit. Microspikes might do too.
Comments: Beautiful day on the mountain, amazing views of the southern presidential range.
