With some new hiking friends and some old hiking buddies. Arrived at the trail parking lot around 9am and quickly made our way up. The trail was mostly packed snow with a few inches of fluffy white stuff everywhere else. A few spots of thick ice that was easily managed by microspikes. The weather early on was nice and a few low-altitude views early on, but later in the day the visibility was greatly reduced and we did not get much a view as we got near the top.
Our way down was fun as a few areas make for some great, fun, slides.
It was the first winter 4000' for many in the group and an excellent hike for that.
