Advice Sought: Kayaking Acadia NP and Vicinity

I will be heading up to Acadia next week for some light hiking, long paddling, and maybe some underwater UV photography if the the run off, algae, winds, and currents are cooperative.

Any pointers, tips, advice, experiences, recommendations for tours/guides, thoughts that you wish to share would be welcome.
