Boy oh boy yesterday was the bluebird day to be out in the mountains. Certified by all of the facebook friends that have been posting great photos from yesterdays hikes. Henry and I got a few ourselves on our hike halfway up Sandwich Dome on the Algonquin Trail. The ledges at the junction of the Black Mountain Pond Trail have some wonderful views. The last half mile before the junction is extremely steep.

This completes my list of the Squam Lakes Association Trails, all in winter. I did more trails breaking this year than in any year in the past. Very few folks on these trails. IIRC I only saw a sum total of 6 other people on these trails in about 77 miles of winter hiking (excluding my hiking companions for the day).

I put all the hikes on Wikiloc and they have a "SLAT50" prefix.
