Amo trail in great shape - a well packed "herd path". Gulf side up to Washy well packed as well. Hiked in snowshoes to Lakes, but not needed. Hiked the rest of the day in crampons.
Amo trail comes out about 1/2 to the north west of the hut. What's up with that.
Hiked in shorts and short sleeve shirt. A few of guests at the summit house took my picture. It was 32 degrees with 45 mph winds. Wind chill of 18 - so I was told. Then I got cold!
Great hike - 100+ mile views.
