Date of Hike:3/22/09
Trail Conditions: Conditions alternate frequently from snow (up to 8") to bare ground. 4 major blow downs on the south (left) side of the upper Tamposi loop. The north (right) side is clear of blowdowns, and has better views from numerous ledges. I moved lots of branches off the trail, but the rest will require a saw.
Special Equipment Required: Traction control not necessary. Snow shoes not needed.
Comments: Beautiful hill for a quick jaunt. Great views of Monadnock, Skatutakee & Thumb, the Wapack Range, and lots of others.
