I have finally worked on a trip report for an old trip I took back in 1979 to Baxter State Park. My notes are old and memories faded but my photos bring a nostalgic touch to a great trip that I thought I'd share with all.

I made contact with Terry Robie, now a 40+ year old mother. She said on

" was so glad to see your message on MySpace. I certainly do remember you and I love the fact that your profile pic is of the two of us on the summit of Mt. Katahdin. I remember that climb very well with "The Chimney" and "Knife Ridge". Do you remember my harrowing experience when I stepped on that nest of bees hiding in the ground? If my mother had only known what went on on those hiking trips I don't think she would have allowed dad and I to go. I did have a lot of fun and some of the best memories I have of me and my dad were on those climbs. "
