Lincoln Woods Trail is a packed super highway. Wilderness Trail packed out by skiers; broken as a single track. Bondcliff broken to summit of Bondcliff. There are a few blowdowns along the route but none is more than an inconvenience. Snow depth makes walking in the upper branches of the trees a pain in the ....face. Of the four water crossings on the Bondcliff trail, the lower two are open. Snow bridges were holding firm on No. 1. No snow bridges on No. 2; wide open but crossing was easy. Crossings 3 and 4 completely covered in snow.
Snowshoes were my weapon of choice. With the softening snow pack, there is no way I would try these (or any other) trails without them.
