Date of Hike: 7/4/13
Trail: Signal ridge
Trail Conditions: Woods are moist and the trail is wet with some mud. Much trail work has been done with relocations, good water bar drainage, new wood treads over wet area, and brushing. Trail crew was at work today (??Holiday pay)
Special Equipment Required: I brought sandals in case needed for water crossing after all of the recent rains. But did not need to use them. Brought a towel to wipe the sweat out of my eyes on this 90 degree day
Comments: Although I have read that the cool kids finish on Carrigan, I have saved Jefferson for last. My family members from Fairbanks, Alaska will be here in a couple of weeks, and I wanted them to see the northern Presidentials. A nice day with good views would help.
