The road to the parking area had about 4" of new snow making it difficult to get up the hill to the parking area.
The Crawford Connector and Crawford path is hard packed all the way to Pierce.
Snowshoes useful for traction but probably not necessary.
Expensive trip down as I noticed my EMS camp chair had fallen off my pack somewhere between Pierce and the Mizpah Cutoff and my son lost his Black Diamond headlamp somewhere between the Mizpah Cutoff and the Crawford Connector.
Other than that is was a great day out!
