I'm in....should be a real fun time.

Looking forward to the lobster & shrimp feast!!!!!!

Can't wait to see David's new movie.

Do you have to RUN it, or can you sort of saunter along on your snowshoes?
I can just picture me running in my snowshoes, not a pretty sight! :(
Sounds interesting, I will check out the website.

I can't tell what the full and half distances are. Clue please !
If there's a group going I'd do this.
"Lobster & Shrimp Feast for all finishers..."
By "finishers" are they meaning those who return to base or those who complete the entire course ? (I'm thinking I'm trying to keep up with Una.)
And what exactly constitutes a "feast" ? :p More Clues please !

Standard marathon is 26 miles 385 yards = 26.2 miles (approximately - actually 26.21875)). For half, divide by 2. :)

Hey Chip!

I believe the entry fee gets you a nice fleece and the Lobster Dinner.

I can't stay for the Lobster Dinner though, so will be passing my food ticket off the someone who vows to clean their plate and mine!

:D

Hope that all the incredible snow we are getting here in VT today sticks around for the race!

Chinook, there is a nine hour time limit.

I plan to briskly hike it and hope to finish in six hours (the half marathon).

S

I plan to lag way behind u d and stop frequently to get out of the way of those who are in a hurry.

Just giving this a ....

Bump!

I heard today from some of the organizers that the race course is now broken out after last weeks heavy snow--- sounds like a great course!
