DEC closing campgrounds

That makes me sad. We camped at Beaverkill on our honeymoon (decidedly low budget) 28 years ago in April. You can set up your tent right by the stream and listen to the water all night long. It's really a beautiful place.

We've Camped numerous times at Sharp Bridge. Too bad...

Too too bad.
My grandparents camped there in the 30's after they closed the campgrounds on Bear Mountain ( Harriman). I camped there in the 50's and 60's as a kid. Took my wife and son there in the 80's.
Ah, an era passes.
