Equinox Mountain VT

Howdy folks,

Just a quick question. Does anyone have any idea of the average grade for the blue trail up EQX Mountain and distance.

I hiked the Blue Summit trail last Saturday. Something like 3000' in 3 or 3.5 miles. It's steep pretty much the whole way up. Never straight up, no scrambling, but few flat spots until you start to crest out near the summit. That section is beautiful! The lower 3/4 of the hike is a boring tote road. It must have been some place to eat dinner, though. The lookout has a great panorama down on all of Manchester. It was about 2 hours up, 1 hour down. To make things more interesting I brought my stove and had soup and quesadillas for lunch! Makes the drive-up crowd more bearable.
