Trail Conditions: Some snow, some mud, a little ice. Is it April? A lot of bare spots down low. Not much snow up high, but there is enough and it is pretty well consolidated. 2 water crossings that required care. No blow downs, looks like someone had been through with a saw recently.

We wore microspikes all day with no problems.

We abandoned our plan to hike Jackson and decided to head to the other side of the Notch where there would be fewer water crossings. Lots of people and dogs out.
