Flags on the 48 Thanks

Just wanted to say thank you to all the folks from this board that made Flags on the 48 2007 a success. Hope to see you again next year!

Thanks Cal for all your work on this. Its a great event to be part of. Last year we met several women who were widowed on 9/11/01 and they told us how much the event meant to them. It was really great to hear that.

I'm already thinking about a plan for 2008.

Thanks everyone who did the work on this. Got up North Twin before the Flags crew got there but did the South Twin Flag bearer as he arrived at the summit. Talked with Brian at Zealand for a while & met three guys from the Hale group & left them the candy I had brought up for saying thanks.

Stayed overnight Friday night with the Galehead Flag bearers, no candy for them as one of them admitted to me today a need to get in better shape!

I had been on top of Carrigain on coincidentally on Sept. 11th 2005, and saw the flag up there. I felt honored to have a chance to help in some way this year, and plan on being involved again next year!
