Crew of 4 of us brushed entire length of trail and cleared 16 waterbars and 14 blowdowns. There is one blowdown near trailhead that is a step-over. We left it cause we knew it would take too much time early and we wanted to clear all the way to summit which we did. Then it was dark when we came down.
Few muddy spots but nothing major. BEWARE that ground wasps are still active. I got stung once on way up and Forester Jake got nailed 4 times on way down. I ran gauntlet on way down and made it without getting stung. The nest is located (when going up) just after last wooden staircase where trail levels and traverses plateau, nest at ground level on left. On way down, move fast after the tree that some nim-nod carved up with knife, nest on right and far more visible when descending, even I saw it when runnin full tilt.
