I shot this photo a few days ago at the Liberty Springs Tentsite in the rain. What do you think?

I like moody shots like this. I like how the background fades out.
I think the stump on the right is a bit too strong, and I think I would have tried to move to get that out of the frame. Other than that it conveys the mood nicely.

I am a fan of foggy and moody pictures. Fog will cover over a multiple of potential distractions in the background of pictures. The composition is rather unconventional which can add to the appeal of a photo - and it does here. The scene is a blend of natural and man made elements, and in that vein there is an interesting contrast in the cut stumps and the natural tree limb stumps. Tripods will always help these scenes, but you did a good job of hand holding.

This scene gets you in the mood to set up camp and start heating your favorite beverage.
