Trail Conditions: Trail started out as crusty dirt and ice sections. Water crossings were a bit rough, as it was hard to tell which rocks were icy until you stepped on them and then slipped into the river. Above 2500 feet approx it turned to snow on the trails. The trail was packed to the summit and was easily done with no traction or snowshoes. At the summit the rocks on top were very slippery.

Special Equipment Required: Nothing really. Micro spikes or something like that could be used. Crampons would be overkill and snowshoes would have just been annoying considering the trail was packed down but narrow.

Comments: Temps were comfortable for hiking and the views were good on the way up when you could see through the trees. Unfortunately the summit was totally socked in so no views from the top. The temp dropped quite a bit on top due to the wind.
