Trails: North Twin Trail, Fire Warden's Trail, Lend-a-Hand Trail, Twinway, North Twin Trail
Trail Conditions: North Twin was flat and dry up to FWT. FWT was in great condition like usual for an unmaintained trail - a handful of stepovers, one duck under, a couple of boggy sections, but otherwise easy to follow. Lend-a-Hand was wet and stream-like at times. Twinway was in great shape to South Twin. North Twin had a lot of wet sections and loose rocks. The first (and only) major crossing didn't have any standard way to cross, so I just found the least amount of foot-dunking that was required because the trailrunners dry fast.
Equipment: None.
Comments: Can't hike this weekend, so took a day off and enjoyed the wonderful weather. Had done this loop before and really liked the variety - peaks, huts, ponds, cliffs, etc.. It was very warm, but windy which cooled me down and kept the bugs away. Ran into a few groups and a few solo hikers. Everyone was very pleasant today on the hike so it was nice to talk to a few people along the way!
